The episode resumes with the Z fighters astonishment Cell back to life, and that Trunks had been snatched by unexpectedly Cell. Goku, the Snake Way, King Kai asked how cells may be alive, but even King Kai does not know how Cell survived his own "self detonation." Cell, enjoy all the fear it has caused in all combatants Z says he survived the explosion because each cell is independent. Cell exploded, yet one of its cells were still alive ... a cell, which is all that is necessary to transform return to his former self. Not only the living cell to transform itself into a body cell, but he "remembered" Cell perfect, and therefore turned to him rather than its normal shape.

"Cell Vegeta slapping the ground, then releases a powerful explosion right to Vegeta, Gohan dodges yet right in front of Vegeta, and takes the heat of the explosion. Cell is to admire his work ... with Gohan located above Vegeta to protect it. Suddenly, Gohan starts to stand and faces Cell.
